HEALTHCARE
It is a fact that Spain, in particular the Mediterranean coast, provides a perfect environment for living. This is due to the climate, the outdoor way of life and the diet. As a result a healthier lifestyle can be expected, but healthcare is still very important. Spain and the United Kingdom are full members of the European Union and have in place an arrangement, whereby citizens of both countries can receive free healthcare while visiting or living in the other. |

EDUCATION
Families that have relocated from the U.K. to Spain are pleasantly surprised by the way in which their young ones adapt and integrate into Spanish schools. Because children are so adaptable, they settle in quickly and take to the language enabling them to have a comprehensive education and make new Spanish friends. |

Once you’re pet as been assessed and the necessary documentation issued you are free to take your pet with you to Spain. Although checks are carried out and paperwork issued, it is no longer necessary to leave your pet at home in care, or with friends, normally no quarantine period is necessary. |
